Takes about 10 minutes and a few confirmations. Boxes with Android 7 or later are supported; suitable for a screen that stays on all day.

What you need

  • The device and its power adapter
  • An internet connection (Wi-Fi or cable)
  • A Viswoo account (a user who can sign in to the panel)
  • A FAT32-formatted USB stick if you install from USB
  1. Open viswoo.com/en/install in the browser of the device (with a setup key: viswoo.com/en/install/your-key).
  2. Press Download Viswoo (APK).
  3. When the download finishes, open the file. If you see an “unknown sources” warning, allow it.
  4. Choose Install, then Open.

Install from USB

  1. In the panel, go to Screens → Setup keys → Create key and download the Personal APK.
  2. Copy the APK to a USB stick and plug it into the device.
  3. Open the stick with the file manager on the device (e.g. Files) and click the APK.
  4. When installation finishes, open Viswoo; the personal APK connects to your account without a code.
  5. If Viswoo is already installed: copy the USB file (viswoo-kurulum.json) to the stick, choose Choose setup file from USB on the pairing screen and pick the file.

Start automatically on boot

  1. On first launch Viswoo shows Let’s get this screen ready for nonstop playback. Press Set up on each row and confirm in the system screen that opens: exclude from battery optimization, display over other apps, home screen app. Settings your box does not have say “Not on this device”; skip them and press Continue.
  2. If the box settings also have an option such as Auto start / Boot start, select Viswoo.
  3. Turn the box off and on to check that Viswoo starts by itself.

Pairing

  1. If you used a setup key, the screen connects by itself and appears as a “New screen” under Screens in the panel.
  2. Without a key, the screen shows a 6-digit code and a QR code. In the panel, go to Screens → Add screen and type the code, or scan the QR code with a phone.
  3. The code renews every few minutes; enter the code currently on the screen.

Check

If the screen looks green in the panel and the content you assigned is playing, setup is complete.
